Bell Moving and Storage History
Bell Moving and Storage is a fourth-generation, family-owned and operated moving company that has been in business for over 100 years. Our story dates back to 1922, when we opened our first location in Cincinnati. In 2019, husband-and-wife team Chris and Cassie Egan purchased the business from Bill and Tamara Kissell, who were the third generation in their family to own it.
Chris has been in the moving industry since 2010 and began his career as an operations manager before transitioning into sales and marketing. The arrival of the Egans marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Bell Moving and Storage as Chris aims to integrate new technologies and advanced training into business operations. His mission is to continue growing the business to new heights and provide the people of Cincinnati with the quality moving services they deserve.
Our dedication to excellence and professionalism has made us a staple in the Cincinnati community and allowed us to represent the entire Ohio Valley Region, including all of Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.
In addition to servicing our local community, we’ve also made great strides in offering long-distance moving services across the country and the globe. Our success would not be possible without our wonderful and talented staff. We have a crew of 15 dedicated Cincinnati movers who always go the extra mile for every customer they encounter. Our movers are thoroughly background-checked and extensively trained in handling your delicate belongings with the necessary care and professionalism. We also appoint dedicated moving coordinators on every project who know the ins and outs of moving and will act as your personal liaison for the duration of your move.
The entire crew is also up to date on all the latest moving techniques and knows how to handle cutting-edge equipment. They will arrive at the site with trucks and trailers fully stocked with the tools needed to handle a move of any size. We can provide straight trucks and sprinter vans that are rigorously tested multiple times per year to ensure safety and DOT requirements.
